About Me

Hey there! I’m Amanda Jefferson.

After 20 years of trying to keep up with the “shoulds,” I left it all behind to help others learn how to listen to themselves. I’m the owner of Indigo Organizing, the creator of the Organized Every Day™ online course, and one of the world's first KonMari consultants. A TEDx speaker and co-host of the Good Enough-Ish podcast, I’ve been featured in Real Simple, Harpers Bazaar UK and Better Homes & Garden, among others.

I spend my work life in several ways:

  1. working 1-on-1 with private clients helping them to de-clutter and organize their digital lives

  2. speaking to groups about how to let go of what’s not serving them by quieting the noisy shoulds of our society.

  3. co-hosting the Good Enough-ish podcast

Somewhere in there, I find time to blog and share on Instagram

Wanna know more about me?

  1. I will flat out refuse to eat an Oreo unless it’s a Double Stuf Oreo. #doublestufornothing #dontforgetthemilk

  2. I trained under Marie Kondo and now I’m a trainer myself. I’m one of only a few KonMari consultants to be chosen to teach the KonMari Method™ to aspiring consultants.

  3. I grew up in a really rural part of Delaware. Our phone number was 422-CORN. Seriously.

  4. I’m a huge techie. My idea of fun is learning a cool new digital tool. In fact, after years of helping people de-clutter and organize their physical spaces, I’ve now turned my attention towards helping people get their DIGITAL world into tip-top shape.Think of me as your eager beaver tech-loving cheerleader, ready to save the digital day!

  5. We have a beautiful, talkative young daughter and a ridiculously adorable dog named Junebug. When I’m not talking about tech stuff, I’m usually talking about my daughter or dog. #mustgethobbies

  6. I left a big fancy-pants career to start my own business. Whether it was consulting for international development in Washington, DC, designing executive leadership programs at the Wharton School, or heading up Summer Search Philadelphia to help build resilience in young people, I’ve always tried to do work that makes our world better.

  7. Chile is home-away-from-home for us, and we speak Spanish at home. I met my husband in Chile while doing an internship at an astronomical observatory in undergrad. Years later, I lived there for 2 years and did a bilingual MBA. My very first class was Accounting. In Spanish. (I don’t recommend that.)

  8. My company is named Indigo Organizing thanks to Isaac Newton, oh and a few others things. Read more about that here.

  9. I live in beautiful Chester County, Pennsylvania. Driving to the supermarket is like driving through the rolling green hills of England. (I mean, I guess it is. Never been!)

  10. I co-host the Good Enough-ish Podcast with my bestie Brooke Forry. I didn’t know work could be THIS fun. We’re already in the top 15% of podcasts globally and booking major sponsors.

  11. I LOVE what I do. Whether it’s teaching, speaking, talking with the press, or helping my amazing clients to organize their digital lives, it’s a total HONOR to help people to live their best lives.

Are YOU ready?
